Accelerating software delivery with agentic QA automation using Amazon Nova Act – Part 3
According to AWS. AWS details new capabilities in QA Studio to help scale agentic QA automation across an organization using applications and team-based user management.
- • QA Studio introduces applications to organize tests and report health metrics.
- • Team-based user management controls who can view and modify tests.
- • Health scores calculate pass rates while subtracting penalties for flaky tests.
Organizing tests with applications
An application in QA Studio represents the system under test, serving as a container that gives a collection of tests a home and an owner. Use cases and test suites belong to an application, allowing each team to work inside the applications they own instead of viewing one flat list.
Understanding application health
QA Studio records the outcome of every execution as Amazon CloudWatch custom metrics dimensioned by application and environment. A health score from 0 to 100 is computed starting from the pass rate and subtracting a penalty for flaky tests to prevent falsely perfect pictures.
Controlling access with teams
QA Studio organizes access around teams where an application belongs to exactly one team, and every member holds one of five cumulative roles ranging from Viewer and Executor up to Admin, Team Lead, and Editor.
